There is a free MEMOIR WRITING WORKSHOP coming up at the Las Vegas Family Search Library at 509 South and 9th Street. It’s a four week course held from 10:30 to 11:30 on Fridays, starting on the first Friday of each month.
Congratulations to Sydnee Elliot on the recent release of her book, which is available as a free download on Kindle this weekend.
QUOTES OF THE NIGHT:
“It’s a metaphor, so just live with it.”
“This was the end of my novel, which I then made the beginning of my novel, and then decided that I didn’t know if it should even be in my novel.”
Next Monday (October 21st) is the regular Monday meeting, at 6:30 p.m. in the Coffee Shop on Water Street. Next Wednesday (October 23rd) is the West Side meeting at Skinny Dugans.
