The latest Sledgehammer Writing Contest is coming up next month. The contest begins at Noon, Saturday, July 25th, and concludes at 11:59PM on Sunday, July 26th, right at the Sledgehammer website.
What’s Sledgehammer, You Ask?
It’s a quirky writing contest that incorporates:
- a scavenger hunt
- four writing prompts
- a 36-hour deadline
- the option to write as a team or solo
- a celebrity judge
- more than $1,000 in CASH prizes
Kate Gray, author of Carry the Sky (Forest Avenue Press, 2014) and winner of the 2013 Sledgehammer individual category, will select the 2015 Judge’s Choice winner.
