Nominations were opened, during this past Monday’s meeting, for the following Board of Directors positions:
- President
- Treasurer
- Conference Coordinator
- Publicity Officer
- Education Officer
These are all for a two-year term.
The nominating process will continue through the upcoming meeting on March 30th. If you are interested in serving on the Board of Directors you may nominate yourself, or have another member place your name into the running. Nominations must receive a Second, or “vote of confidence,” from another, separate member before being placed on the ballot.
Elections will take place at the Annual General Meeting, held the first Monday of each April. This year’s election will be on April 6, at Community Lutheran Church.
New By-Laws have been proposed and must be ratified by the general membership at this same meeting. Please ensure you have read them over carefully, understand them, and (you) are prepared for the voting process.
