An anonymous donor wants to send a local writer to the Las Vegas Writers Conference at their expense. To win this Dream Prize, read everything carefully.

Fill out the form completely. Incomplete applications will be disqualified.
Do it by March 13th.
Prepare Now
Late applications will be disqualified. All applicants will be notified of the results March 17. Winner must accept by March 18.
Criteria for Entry
- Must be a local Las Vegas area writer, not yet published. (S. Nevada writers from Clark, Esmeralda, Lincoln, Mineral, and Nye counties are eligible. Not yet published refers to novel-length works only. Applicants who have published short stories/magazine pieces that do not reproduce their own published novel excerpts are permitted.)
- Must be post-high-school aged [HWG awards a separate scholarship for Clark County School District high school students]
- Must be able to attend all three days
- Must be a member of Henderson Writers Group or join. [Conference committee or board members and their families are NOT eligible]
- Submit a 100-word response to these two questions:
- What is the status of your current work-in-progress?
- How specifically you will use the resources of the LVWC to advance the work. NOTE: Work at any stage is eligible, but be specific about how you will use the conference. Which workshops, panels, or other features will be specifically helpful to you? How?
